- Who can get tested for COVID-19 at the airport testing site?

Community members, including travelers and airport employees, can visit the airport’s AdventHealth Centra Care location. You do not need proof of travel to be tested here. The testing site is located prior to airport security checkpoints.
- Does the airport testing site take insurance?

No. AdventHealth Centra Care at the Orlando International Airport is self-pay only. We do accept insurance at our other traditional AdventHealth Centra Care locations. Learn more here.
- What type of COVID-19 testing is available?

This location offers both rapid RT-PCR testing and rapid-result antigen testing. The rapid RT-PCR test is subject to availability. The SARS-CoV-2 assay uses real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technology to rapidly (approximately 60 minutes) detect SARS-CoV-2 from nasal swabs. The rapid-result antigen tests detect proteins from the virus and are most accurate when performed within five to seven days of the onset of symptoms. This type of test includes a nasal swab and provides results in approximately 30 minutes.
- How much does it cost to get tested for COVID-19?

- Can I see a doctor at the testing site?

No, we are not providing evaluations with a health care provider. This site is for COVID-19 testing and results only.
- Can appointments be made in advance?

Yes, appointments can be made online in advance. Due to demand, we accept walk-ins based on availability, and cannot guarantee a test without an appointment. Please click here to make an appointment and, if you’re planning to get tested before boarding a flight, be sure to allow yourself plenty of time.
- Is this testing site approved for travel to Hawaii?

No, this testing site is not an approved site for travel to Hawaii.
