Find Out More About the Flu Virus

Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a highly contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. The flu infects the nose, throat and lungs. If left untreated, it can progress into more serious complications, which makes it particularly threatening to those with pre-existing health conditions, infants, young children and seniors over 65. Different influenza viruses routinely spread in people and can evolve, making annual flu shots to protect against the current flu strains an important part of flu prevention.

The doctor takes her time and actually cares, which I feel some urgent care doctors sometimes just push you through — so I appreciate she actually tries to connect and is super down to earth. Glad I have a place I know I can go and I can take my family!
